On September 30th, 2024,  students from the 2024 – 2025 MARBIO program (Nordic Master Program in Sustainable Production and Utilisation of Marine Bio-resources) visited Ísponica in Hofsós. MARBIO is a collaboration between Háskólinn á Hólum (Iceland), the University of Gothenburg (Sweden) and Nord University (Norway). The first year begins with a mandatory hybrid course of 15 Credits, jointly taught by the three universities. This includes three, one week sections where all students gather at one of the partner universities for an intensive campus course. This week the students are here in Iceland and visiting research facilities and industry around the country.
