Élise Plessis is a local French-Icelandic artist who studied graphic design in Paris and Brussel. She was raised in France but came to Skagafjördur in 2018 after spending 7 years in the West Fjords in a very remote area. Élise has lived in Iceland for 10 years now and obtained her Icelandic citizenship in 2021. She is mainly working in illustration and is the board game artist behind the Oniverse collection published by Z-Man Games (US).

She is currently spending her time drawing Icelandic nature as she is fascinated by Iceland’s wildlife and spectacular landscape. She recently opened an online shop to share her enthusiasm with people abroad.
