Congratulations to Ragnhildur Rún Breiðdal, who completed her final project with us last week. Ragnhildur studied the current state of greenhouse production, aquaculture and aquaponics in Iceland. The main goal was to focus on the future of aquaponics in Iceland, which connects these industries. Well done, Ragnhildur!
On April 15th we shared the story of Ísponica as part of the Aquaponics Association’s Virtual Conference. The Virtual Conference brought together participants from all over the world to share their experience, research and goals for aquaponics in their local industries.
In March 2024, Amber visited the London area to learn more about opportunities and technology in vertical farming.

Plans are underway to renovate part of the former fish factory in Hofsós, which will become Ísponica’s new home. Stay tuned for more updates!

Ísponica received funding (1.500.000 ISK) from SSNV to plan the next phase of the company.
